Although Kentucky does not post here anymore, much to my sadness, I’ve always admired his basic approach to life. He doesn’t tolerate fools. He doesn’t worry about money or his career. Ambition does not drive him to drink – he needs nothing for that. Success is not his mistress. He is happy with a good beer, a good book, a good song, and, these days, the love of a good woman. And who can blame him? The Consul and I can get caught up in our all important careers, but in the end are we any better off than Kentucky? I don’t think so. I’m looking forward to seeing Kentucky again at the Consul’s Pad around Easter next year as we all celebrate the big fifty. I’m sure he will have lots of Woody Allen quotes for me and I look forward to hearing them again. I miss you Kentucky.
