Anthony Newley Revives Some Great Memories

So many see the Anthony Newley period of David Bowie as something to be forgotten quickly,

Prettiest Starman

but I remember when I was first getting into Bowie in my first year of college that I’d listen  to the Deram era of David Bowie from 1966-1968 (before the amazing Space Oddity) all the time.  I loved most of the songs and back in my flat at St. Marks in Leeds you’d hear Uncle Arthur, The Laughing Gnome, Tony day, and the whole gang playing away.  Simpler times for sure.
