Kentucky smiled wryly as I retorted – “Kentucky there’s another one of your lines!” We were both watching Annie Hall, which along with Manhattan and Broadway Danny Rose are my favorite Woody Allen movies, and these lines kept coming up that I had laughed at over the years. It turns out that 95% of Kentucky’s repertoire has been masterfully lifted from Mr. Allen’s movies. But the way Kentucky delivers them make them his own – Kentucky truly is the master wit and raconteur that he has always stated. And that unique 5% makes all the difference. Interestingly enough, The Consul totally disagrees with my choice of Allen movies, his favorite being: Curse of the Jade Scorpion.
