One of the things I really enjoyed on my trip back to England was the long walks that we took in the beautiful English countryside before we found our pub for the day. There is nothing that screams “Perfect Pint!” more than working up a thirst by walking a swift five miles before you arrive. The Consul was the master of the walks – every day he had a brand new trip arranged and the views and scenery were always breathtaking. This church was at the beginning of a wonderful five-mile walk along the River Severn and then followed by the best beer of the trip – a perfectly clear pint of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord served at The Bell Inn, Frampton on Severn. After an amazing day The Consul got the call and then the experienced fencers began their work shortly afterward.
